# Processing times

> What happens after you upload or send data, and when you can query it and see Dimensions.

Times are typical, not guaranteed.

## Why "uploaded" isn't "enriched"

Enrichment reads every conversation with a language model. A live integration is enriched every day on its own. A file upload, and anything sent to `/trackhistorical`, is enriched only when you run a backfill. Ask the agent about raw text or uploaded columns as soon as the data is queryable; ask about Dimensions once the backfill shows up.

## Things that look like delays but aren't

- **No backfill yet.** An uploaded file has no Dimensions until you start a backfill from the **Backfill** tab.
- **Daily enrichment is off.** Standard Dimensions don't run every day unless Dimension Labs has turned daily enrichment on for your workspace.
- **A prompt with a filter.** A prompt with a filter set in Prompt Designer doesn't run in the daily enrichment. Run a backfill for it.
- **A backfill queued behind another backfill.** Backfills share one queue, so a long one delays the next.
- **A run limited to a date window.** If an enrichment run was started with a date range, conversations outside it stay empty. See [Troubleshooting enrichment](/troubleshooting/enrichment).
